SEE plans to transition into the new school year and will resume classes with remote instruction on Monday, August 17, 2020 per the city ordinance.
Sept 8th, if conditions allow, SEE plans to offer face-to-face instruction with an option for remote instruction. SEE will follow TEA guidelines which will include the safety of our students, faculty, staff, and families. Then we will follow requirements for taking attendance, remote and face-to-face instruction, and grading.
SEE is devising a plan to share with you later as we get closer to the school year because changes to the public health conditions over the course of the summer may necessitate changes during this time. In the meantime, please view the website for updates, respond to surveys and or emails asking for your input to help in devising the plan that we all will follow.
We will continue to face new challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic that require cooperation , coordination, and commitment among students, families, staff, and the community this school year. Nevertheless, we will to continue to provide quality academic service and educational opportunities for your child to learn and grow.
