Eating a good balanced breakfast or lunch will provide the energy our children need to excel in their classroom work, and we partner with parents in teaching children the importance of eating right.

Things we need to eat on a daily basis for a better lifestyle:

  • Fruits, vegetables, and whole grains
  • Avoid fried foods, sugary snacks, sodas, and fruit drinks
  • Choosing skim or low-fat milk and dairy products

Make a decision this year to spend more time exercising than playing video or computer games or watching television. Pump up your activity level and make the new school year your healthiest and most fun year yet!

Breakfast Served Daily

After not eating for at least 8 hours, your body needs some fuel to wake up. Starting the day with a well-balanced meal keeps hunger at bay and allows you to make wise choices for the meals to follow. Breakfast helps improve concentration in the classroom, allowing your mind to focus on what is being taught, versus when you are going to eat.
