Hello Kelley Families,

Welcome back to the start of another exciting school year! I hope everyone spent some quality time with family perhaps traveling, relaxing, reading or swimming at the neighborhood pool.

I spent some of my time celebrating my wedding in July alongside our five children, family and friends. It is going to be a transition for us all, myself included, as we get accustomed to calling Ms. O by her new name, “Mrs. Peterson”. I missed everyone, and I am excited to start the new school year! Often during the summer months things have a way of changing so I want to give you a short update on those changes.

Please welcome the following teachers and staff members to our community:

Cynthia Henson Registrar

James Grota Special Education

Barbara Dillard Special Education

Maria Sifuentes Instructional Assistant

Demetria Carter Instructional Assistant

At the heart of every Kelley teacher and staff member is the desire to ensure that all students will be successful in the core curriculum areas and in life. This year, the Kelley team is diligently learning, growing and getting the campus ready for the return of our precious students. Together we plan to continue the partnership with our families to meet the needs of your child.

Please mark your calendars for the upcoming events!

I look forward to a successful year, as we strive for excellence in the classroom. Feel free to contact me if I can be of any assistance during your child’s livelihood here at Kelley. I will be open to your concerns and suggestions to make our students succeed both academically and behaviorally as a Kelley Elementary student. I want to encourage you to stay in contact with your child’s teacher and be our guest at the many student activities that will take place throughout the year. I also encourage you to get involved as a member of our school Parent Teacher Organization.

Thank you again for sharing your most prized possession with us - your child. I hope that the rest of your summer break is safe and relaxing! I am delighted to continue my passion for educating young children as Principal at Kelley Elementary School.

Blessings,

Tiffany Peterson
