The Milton B. Lee Academy of Science & Engineering is a Texas Education Agency (TEA) designated Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) school with Dr. Paul Saenz Junior High School serving as the feeder school.
All students are encouraged to pursue careers in STEM fields. Graduation requirements include endorsements in:
(focus on Engineering) which includes classes in Concepts of Engineering, Electronics, and AutoCAD.
Business & Industry
(focus on Entrepreneurship) with classes in Principles of Hospitality, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship.
(focus on Health Science) with classes in Health Science Technology, Medical-Terminology, and Anatomy and Physiology.
The Engineering Track at Milton B. Lee Academy offers Principals of Applied Engineering, Electronics and Computer Programming.

Meet the Principal
Principal Zondria Campbell
Principal Zondria Campbell joins the Legacy – Texas family from Little Rock, Arkansas, where she has served for over 15 years as an educator. She has served as a teacher, school counselor, assistant principal and principal.
Principal Campbell holds a specialist degree in educational leadership from Harding University, masters in school counseling, and a bachelor’s degree in early child education from the University of Arkansas. Principal Campbell will lead both Saenz Junior High and Lee Academy as principal.
About Our Namesake
Milton B. Lee
Milton B. Lee grew up in Austin where he attended the University of Texas at Austin and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1971. He is also a registered Professional Engineer.
Mr. Lee joined CPS Energy in August 2000 as Senior Vice President of the Electric Transmission and Distribution Systems. He became Interim General Manager in November 2001 and, in February 2002, assumed the position of General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of CPS Energy, the municipally owned electric and gas company serving San Antonio.
Mr. Lee has recently retired and returned to his hometown of Austin. However, he is still very active throughout the state serving as a consultant and volunteer.
